Born and raised in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil, Dani already had contact with Forró in his childhood, as this dance and music is an important part of the culture in his region.

In 2011 he attended his first Forró class in his hometown officially starting his dance journey. In 2021 he founded the project forró comdendê in Stuttgart to spread his passion for the culture of Northeast Brazil through Forró Pé de Serra.

Dani organizes monthly Forró events in cooperation with diverse artists and teaches Forró at since 2021 in Stuttgart. His regular classes are divided into three levels and currently attended by around 70 students.

He is continuously developing his skills as dancer and teacher with a special focus on solid technical foundations, musicality, creativity and lots of dendê!
